29th Birthday, New update

It is amaizing to know that i will be having a birthday dinner, with 8 friends that i never knew 5 months ago.

It is getting colder here, and i am not wearing shorts anymore or using my airconditioner.
I have been living poor, without a watch, mp3, computer nor a good mobile phone. Sometimes you just gotta live to cheap to get ahead and save. I ask myself why did i come to China? I can say that i am glad that i did for a more suitable opportunity. I have a role here, I didn't have one back home. I am living a dream here. Being overseas in Asia is more suitable for me.

A man is incomplete without a job profession of skills with discipline. I never really had this up untill now. I crave for success and a 2nd chance at life. I will get a gym membership with the money i have left over. I think the martial arts would be good too instead of chaising chinese women. I am also looking into the I was tossed by the waves of the sea but now i found a boat to sail.

I may be getting a new apartment soon with a good opportunity that just came up. I will tell more about this later. I find myself doing laundry all the time. Way more than i ever had in my life. We are having a Halloween party here on the 30th. My costume is a gorilla.

Question of the month: What makes a man disciplined? Is it the training or the will to act?

Pushing through

Pushing through the transition.

Ups and downs continue.
THE GOOD NEWS:
I really like my new job and the school. Things are going great! Teaching adults is way better than those pesty kids. I just had 4 days off because it was China's 56th birthday. Hard to believe but they bacame a republic back then. They really have 6,000 years of history. They talk about Japan's invasion of 1937-38. It was the hardest time for China.

SOME DOWNERS:
I have been broke after coming back from Shanghai. This transition has costed me too much. It's the 600 dollar deposit of my apartment that has hurt a lot. I hope to change my new apartment to something better and a cheaper deposit for the same price.

I was locked out of my apartment for a one night. The key just wouldn't fit in the lock anymore. It caved in a bit. So i got a lock smith the next day to drill it open which took two hours and costed me 50 dollars. I don't know if the land owner will even pay for this. They are so cheap. I am trying to get out of the apartment contract because i have a list of complaints besides the lock falling apart. The washer machine does not work, and one of the air conditioner's gets way too hot. What else will break down. The furniture in there is not worth a 600 dollar deposit. These things that happen make me furious, like a lot of things in China you don't get the quality for what you paid for.

Just keep on trucking, life goes on..
