Christmas in China

I was amazed how the chinese celebrated Chrsitmas. The 24th eve was so busy with traffic jams etc. It has become a commercial holiday here in China. The Chinese Christmas is really their New year's in February where there is 2 weeks off and people exchange gifts.

There talking about that China is the last promise land of opportunity. Export is going bananas here. It has come to my attention that all the disco's here are full people every night. A Monday night can be just like a Saturday or Friday night back in Canada.

I dressed up as Santa Clause for our party. I have atleast a dozen photos or more to post up for the new year.

I am on a training program to lose weight. I am just sitting at 97kg, I was 102kg. My goal is to get down to 85kg. This is all for now. Until the 1st week of January.

Surprises

Looking back on my Chinese experience i am amazed of how things have folded.

1. I thought, it would be a lot harder and didn't think that i would even think about doing business here. The opportunities are far beyond i have ever dreamt of. I am teaching spanish to a factory twice a week.

I am geting a raise this month. The chinese are really good at business and it would be a shame not to do future business here. I have been really busy lately being the most independent person i have ever been. I feel very fortunate to have come here and see the rainbow that i have been searching for.

International trade here is something beyond spectacular. Can you belive it i have a chinese class once a week. I thought i better learn the basics eventhough i can get by with my english and my business spanish.

We have the Christmas party coming up. We get Christmas off and then back to work Christmas day. For the first time ever i will be working Christmas day.

Photos in December are coming.
Untill the next entry.
