The good news is that I will get a raise in a month, and i am finally able to save money now.
I did my first TV advertisement for an electric company. The shoot was at the President's office. Another shot was taken with us getting out of a mercedes.
The last week, I defended myself against a scotish teacher. He has been on a power trip cutting down people for a while for no real valid reason. It was my turn last week, and i stood up to him and put him in his place. He's 47, he's a drunkard with many bad habit problems, the major one being his social skills are like that of a 16 year-old. I am not putting with verbal abusive language. He has cut me down mainly for putting too much effort in my classes. He has many problems with the chinese and foreigners. I told the truth of who he is, and wrote him up. All the staff would like to see him go. I made him uncomfortable enough that he has put in his 1 month notice. He has been quite quiet lately because realizes it's too big of a fight for him. We'll see, what happens, my plan is to totally avoid him because his ship is sinking and i am not going down with it. I decided to do something about it, verbal abuse is not acceptable and his social skills and bad habits are beyond poor for the work force. He pissed me off enough to do something about this. On behalf i have spoken for many others who he has abused.
Anyways it's all under control. I will concentrate on my job and enjoy watching his ship sink.
I can't stand people who try and walk on me.
It has gotten colder here, i had to buy a heater. I also got a dvd machine to see some movies here and there because there is only one english channel here. I can get almost any new dvd for a $1.50 Cdn.
I want to spend most of my time out of my apartment working out, socializing and working as much as i can.

New November
I had a good bithday and halloween party. I have just bought a gym membership for 200 dollars. This an anytime 1 year membership with weekly yoga classes and Tykewondo classes as well. I have started to run on the treadmill 3km a day.
I continue to stuggle in a lot of things here. My TD Visa card is not accepted here. My Royal bank card won't withdraw anything either. I haven't felt so broke before in my life. It's a desperate situation. The good news is i will get paid in 9 days and i have been praised by the students and staff of my excellent effort in teaching. It is natural for me to teach well and show great interest in each student. I have found that it really takes about 5 months to feel settled here. Patience is the key.
I will put up new photos hopefully this week. I have 20 of them. It's not easy to upload them, it's really quite time consuming and i can't even see my blog from China, part of the website is blocked. Before the new year some good changes will occur with my salary and apartment.
Going to the gym, will help my energy level and strength. Most of the foreigners here have a hard time sleeping here and they struggle with fatigue.
I eat mostly beef, potatoes and noodles with some vegtables and bread. I drink a lot of juice and water. I still very tired most of the time. I think the gym and getting my money situation back will help jump start me into the new year.
I really like my students, they are a pleasure to teach. This is what makes my day. I feel far away from all the things that have haunted me in the past. All right back to work after my days off on Monday and Tuesday. I will get those photos up. I am glad the Canucks are in 3rd overall in the NHL and that justice has begun against the US Republican administration.
